Many products require transparent labels, especially those packaged with transparent or colored liquids. These products typically use transparent bottles, and pasting transparent labels can enhance the visual effect of the product.
The material of transparent bottles is generally hard glass or plastic that can be extruded and deformed. When pasting transparent labels on such products, it is easy to generate bubbles. We can avoid labeling bubbles from the following aspects:
1. Clean and flat surface of the bottle: Before labeling, the labeled product must be cleaned; If the bottle body is a regular curved or spherical bottle body, it is clamped and fixed by a conveyor belt during labeling, especially for flat plastic bottles;
2. Select appropriate film materials based on the material of the bottle body: For soft bottle bodies, choose materials such as PE, PVC, untensiled PP, and synthetic materials of PE and PP; Hard bottle bodies should be made of PET, BOPP, or PS fabrics;
3. Pay attention to adjusting the speed and labeling method of the labeling machine: During labeling, the running speed of the bottle should be slightly faster than the labeling speed of the label, which can avoid the generation of bubbles. The labeling of soft bottle bodies should adjust the relationship between the labeling speed, scraper force, angle, and distance;
4. Before labeling, it is necessary to completely eliminate static electricity, making the label firm and detached from the backing paper.
5. Brushes, sponge rollers, and vacuum adsorption methods should not be used on the labeling machine. Instead, a rubber scraper with a certain strength should be installed to make contact with the label, and the scraper should be kept at a certain angle and strength.
6. Choose a suitable base paper: A smooth base paper should be chosen, such as PET material base paper, to ensure that the adhesive has good surface smoothness, good wetting and smoothness after labeling;
